This is caused be a technology known as Macrovision. To avoid it, connect the DVD player DIRECTLY to the TV. The problem is usually caused by connecting the DVD player to a VCR. Connections through a receiver should also work fine.
>I have this DVD player and it workes fine for my needs, but when I watch DVD's the screen will get brighter and darker about every 30 seconds. Can someone tell me why this happens and what should i do about it. Send comments to IaMaGoD069@aol.com..Thank You

I have this DVD as well, but it will not register CDs. You put them and it scans them and then kicks them back out to you. Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?
