My C102 HD scope performs well. Planetary views are excellent. Only flaw would be a slight freeplay on the dec axis.

Celestron's c-102 is like the unfinnished symphony, a work
of art that won't perform perfectly unless the buyer adds or improves some part of the telescope. This is not the case with a stellarvue, but you get what you pay for and for the price of $399 it's worth finnishing.

I just got my c102hd. Must say that i absolutely love it! Have always wanted a 4 inch refractor and can remember when a similar model to this went for 1800. Images are tack sharp. Scope is lightweight and easily transported in one piece. Great scope.
