Checked the Yahoo Group. Looks like the delivery times are much worse now!! At least one post says over 2 years!!!

The scope had the focuser board cut a little short...Ed pointed this out and volunteered to correct it. I turned him down. Other than that, it was in first rate condition. An option I ordered was not availiable at the time of pick-up so Ed swapped it out for one of higher value.

>It holds collimination well. Several times I have used it without re-colliminating the optics without any problems. The colors and shadings of M42 are fantastic. The Raycraft optics are as good as any I have encountered. I have used it maybe a half dozen times. This has to be one of the best truss scope values on the market
>
>So why the 5 overall? The TScope has deliverly problems at this point. My projected 6 month delivery date turned into a wait of about 15 months. My problem is not so much with the 15 month wait as it is with the actual vs, projected delivery date. If this can be addressed, then the TScope is a winner.

I just checked the Yahoo Group, and they are very unhappy with delivery ussues. Everyone appears to agree it is a great scope. What I get out of the group postings is that it is either not being delivered at all. Or, when it does arrive, it is not what was ordered. The price seems to have increased.

Hi Paul,

I am apparently more miffed than you are the difference in time between when Ed predicts a delivery and the actual delivery date. The wait itself is not the issue. I do agree though, if Ed can get to where he is delivering his scopes within 30 days of his predicted delivery date it is a solid 10.

I have had the scope for nearly a year now, and I am as impressed as ever. Ed has raised his prices somewhat (the basic scope has been upgraded as well).

Hi John,

Like you I was going to give the TScope a low overall rating because of the promised vs. actual delivery times and lack of communication once they receive your check. At first I gave a lower rating. However, the scope itself is very nice, I'm thrilled with it, and I have to give Ed credit where it's due. With that said, if i had to do it over, I would have purchased from another vendor just to avoid the aggravation.

From the looks of the Yahoo Group for TScope, things are getting ugly. The delivery times appear to be the issue.
