Subject: Star ASTRO. Club By: Anonymous (xxx.xxx.76.178) Date: 07/06/2003 12:42:58 am PST This is an OUTSTANDING TELESCOPE!!!, and excellent OPTICS AND oustanding GOTO SYSTEM. The Only thing! its to heavy to transport. Other then that, its a great scope. Subject: Re: vote by scottb80 By: Anonymous (xxx.xxx.48.75) Date: 03/19/2004 03:45:26 pm PST >Superior Optics! Using it permanently mounted so I can't complain about the weight. Mount is accurate and quieter then my LX200 10" Classic. A little bit of shakiness in the mount, but settles out fairly quickly. Overall, and excellent value. I was considering the 16", but with a $10K difference between 14" and 16", just couldn't justify it. >-- >Scott Baker >Vice President, New Member Mentor >San Diego Astronomy Association >http://www.sdaa.org >International Dark-Sky Association >http://www.darksky.org >Personal web page: http://www.starcrwzr.com Hello what are you using for a wedge,or are you using it in the alt/azm mode? thank you - Joe jsmacrie@netzero.net Subject: Re: vote by scottb80 By: Anonymous (xxx.xxx.96.60) Date: 05/14/2004 07:53:23 am PST >Superior Optics!
