This little refractor is really amazing! Show's lotsa DSO as superb details on moon and planets! Great contrast!
However, it seems hard to find...

Indeed, I think that this fast fluorite refractor is made for CCD imaging! With focuser replaced by a JMI or Feathertouch, it makes a great great CCD astrograph!

Relative to the dispersion problem you expose, I didn't saw anything like this.... Was the scope well collimated? Have u tested several eyepieces? Maybe it was some eyepiece that wasn't well coated, or that has a lens deffect!

Anyway, thanks Astronomix for such a good astrograph!
