I purchased the 133.5 Lomo Astele. It is a little larger than Orion 127, as I understand the Orion is actually only about 4.5" and not a full 5". Also, Orion is much longer than advertised, so very narrow field of view. The Lomo is f/10.

What is a better choice the Orion 127 or the Lomo 133 (besides the marginal difference in size), are the optics in the lomo worth the extra money?

I am interested in buying a Telescope LOMO ASTELE 150 G Maksutov Cassegrain with EQ5 heavy duty German Equatorial Mount+ .dew shield
I was wondering how it compares to the other brands for example Meade's, Orian, Celestron, etc of comparable size?
I have no experience in this field and we are amatures just starting out.
I am buying this second hand 3 months old scope for about $700 US and I was wondering if I could put a computerized go-to system on this kind of mount?
My wife and I are retired and enjoy looking to the stars and decided a scope might be a good idea.
We live in the back country of Newfoundland, no lights around and everthing is so clear it feels like you can reach out wth your hand and pluck the stars out of the sky.
Really an astronomer's dream come true.
I would appreciate any help one can offer and thanks.
