Subject: New Orange tube C5 owner By: Anonymous (xxx.xxx.151.183) Date: 05/20/2005 05:45:54 pm PST I used this telescope in my first year of college. It was very exciting! The one I just bought is absolutely mint and has the special coatings too and all original documentation/booklets. Subject: New-Old C-5 By: Anonymous (xxx.xxx.117.10) Date: 02/09/2006 04:45:21 pm PST I was lucky enough to aquire a classic late 70's C-5 in mint condition from a kind gentleman from Ohio. With many extra's including a table tripod a vast array of .96 eyepieces solar filters and drive correctors, this is areal "Gem" of a scope. I have a number of Telescopes which include APO's, Questars a C-8 and Current C-11. All are great telescopes, but theres something very cool about this little C-5. Perhaps it's the size or super portability of it I'm not sure what the magic is. Seems to be so user friendly. Go C-5 !!!!! Greg Mort Ashton Maryland Page 1 of 1 |
