Actually, there is no real need to replace the William Optics 2" diagonal as it is quite good. It has a 1.25" adapter, plus it is equipped with compression rings. I think there is a significant price differential between the Megrez 80 and the Pronto that isn't easily rationalized, particularly considering the fine mechanical quality of the Megrez 80. The real advantage of the Pronto is its optical quality. One needs to make the decision based upon price and mechanics versus superior optics.
