Just thought I should clear up something here that has been mentioned a couple of times in a few people's reviews. The director of this film is not the renowned Hayao Miyazaki (Princess Mononoke, Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Nausicaa, Laputa etc.) but one of his friends, Mr. Isao Takahata (LupinIII, Panda Go Panda, PomPoko - Racoon Wars etc.). These very talented men have worked on numerous projects together and their work is published by "Studio Ghibli", a well known and loved company that though much smaller is touted by many fans as Japan's answer to Disney Studios.
