Subject: have problems with central sp. By: Anonymous (xxx.xxx.161.197) Date: 08/11/2004 05:46:41 pm PST After 5 years receiver started to produce a weird cut off with sound going to the central speaker. IT was random and not so often. But now the sound a central speaker is much soft, not powerfull like just to be. It is worth when using 5.1 analog input( rest speakers sound louder than central) Unluckily with 5.1 set there is not independent audio control. Subject: Beware of Sony Products! By: Anonymous (xxx.xxx.251.50) Date: 05/16/2006 06:17:47 am PST I have had problems with all of my Sony products. My receiver (de525) cursed by the "Protector" mode. My miniDV camera. My monitor. My VCR. Bascially, Sony is a "brand" name that is sunk in everyone's head. Their PRODUCTS do no stand up to the test of time. If you buy Sony, be prepared to replace it in a year or so.
