SBIG STV
The STV was designed as an autoguider and it performs this function very well either on a guidescope, or after purchasing the rather costly single-lens e-finder accessory that can also be used as a focal reducer when imaging (see below).

The head is a clone of the ST-237 with minute pixels for high resolution imaging, but the array is small. Imaging with this size array yields a very small field of view unless you use a short-focus refractor or a focal reducer. Recently an install-it-yourself colour imaging wheel is available from SBIG at an excessive price.

All in all, this delightful instrument is rather expensive and for imaging there are many less expensive - though more difficult to use - cameras out there.
