Vixen Lanthanum LV50
First, Vixen publishes the eye relief as 20mm. When you look on the barrel of the eyepiece, the eye relief written as 30mm. From my experience, the barrel is right.

I use the LV50 with an 5" f/10 Mak. I wanted to have the largest exit pupil and lowest magnification I could get without breaking the bank. I bought it for about $100 new in Japan.

Sharp, contrasty images from edge to edge. Beautiful, rich multicoatings. Good transmittence and neutral images (some eyepieces can make the image a little warm or yellow). No kidney beans, but it does black out if your eye is not placed exactly. I had to make an eye cup to keep my eye centered and at the correct distance. I would say an eye cup is manditory. I used a soft plastic tapered oil bottle to make mine. It tapers in to the top (inspired by Pentax).

This is a big eyepiece. The construction is very good. And as with all LV Lanthanums, the outside of the barrel is rubberized. It is treaded for 2" filters.
