Orion Lanthanum 10.5mm
Excellent EP. My first try of the Lanthanum line EP's. Very sharp viewing out to the edge of FOV, Image is very sharp with great contrast. Notice the view a little dimmer than my UO 12.5mm Orthoscopic, but then again, more glass in the Lanthanum. Would give a 10 but for the slightly dimmer view. Excellent price overall for an eyepiece of this quality. Would like to try the Vixen line Lanthanums too. Overall, very impressed. Two thumbs up!

Orion Lanthanum 10.5mm
This is one of the finest EP's I ever spent $120 on. Razor sharp views at about x93 power(that is barlowing this EP, that has already an image amplifier built into it). My favorite EP for showing kids the limb of the moon at local school star parties we host at our Society. It has a 50 degree FOV, so it is similar to the Plossl EP, just sharper with a little more contrast, but a little dimmer than Plossls or Orthoscopes, due to more elements for light to pass thru. These lanthanum EP's are a good alternative to the Vixen Superwides, Naglers, Panoptics or Radians when on a budget. Very good EP.
