Meade Series 3000 Plossl 16mm
It may the poor man's choice amongst all this other exotic pieces of glass, but the 16mm hits real sweet spot with my 200mm SCT. For the cash, highly satisfied.

Provides good mid-range magnification with my 5" SCT. Clear views, decent eye relief, fair cost. One of my favorite Possls.

Meade Series 3000 Plossl 16mm
I use this EP with every scope I own with excellent results. In a 4" f12.7 MCT it will show good planetary detail like structure in Jupiter's belts and Saturn's Cassini division. I can also split doubles down to about 3 arc seconds on a decent night at 81x. I would not hesitate to recommend this EP to anyone.

Meade Series 3000 Plossl 16mm
Hard to beat this plossl for the price. I have owned most of the Meade 4000 series, four naglers, ultrascopics, ultimas, and others. This low priced 16mm Series 3000 plossl is one of my favorites. I use it regularly in my 10" f/10 SCT, 5" f/12.1 Mak, and my fast 8" f/5 reflector. Gives pleasing views in all with sharp contrast, and a relatively flat field almost to the very edge. Eye relief is good and this eyepiece works well in all my scopes with a premium barlow. I feel this eyepiece is a real hidden jewel. I have since parted company with most of my other plossl's but this one is a keeper.

Meade Series 3000 Plossl 16mm
I have to agree with the earlier comments. This eyepiece is a hidden jem of the Meade line. I use this eyepiece more than any other eyepiece I own - including several that cost four times the price! It is consistently sharp optically, and well corrected. Flat to the edge of the field. It works great for deep sky and planetary work, and barlows quite well!

I would recommend this eyepiece highly!
