Oberwerk Astronomy 25x100

Pretty decent for $350...a pain to focus quickly and collimation wasn't perfect but usable....and physically a handful, but not really a woods glass. Some flaring on bright objects (Rigel, Mars, etc) and a little ghosting on the moon, but overall quite competent, and a good complement to your telescope. But get a stout tripod....I use a Bogen 3046 (the king kong of collapsible tripods) and it keeps the big bino very still, even at angles of nearly 80*. Would be nice if it were rubber armored ('course then it wouldn't slide in and out of the case quite so easily, so....). But other than that, coatings appear very even, construction quality is quite good and it does what I want it to do...provide good both-eyes wide-field views, both cosmically and terrestrially....a good buy sypglass
