salespeople, great prices, and a wide variety of name brand products. My
experience with AVI has been more than perfect. Give Nick at AVI a call and I
am sure you will not be disappointed.

I recently Ordered speakers from AVI and was very happy with the price and service I recieved. The salesman was relatively patient (He didn't immediately ask for my left arm when I asked about equipment) and knowledgable about the products he sells (Nick was his name). The only reason I didn't give a '10' is the unpredictable hours AVI seems to have. I've called during 'normal business hours' and sometimes my call is routed to a pager service (not real customer friendly - am I buying drugs or stereo equipment). I will call AVI to order again.

I ordered a Yamaha receiver and received it in two days.(I live in Puerto Rico).They have good prices, send me doble boxed and factory sealed.I talk with Nick is very amable and patient.

I couldn't be happier with AVI. Nick was great! I ordered a Denon AVR27000 receiver and Polk RM7300 speakers. The receiver arrived within 2 days, just as promised. The speakers were out of stock, but they showed up just as promised, within 7 to 10 days. All came via UPS double boxed, with manufacturers warranties. I might add that the prices were the best!! I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Not worth the call. Whoever said Nick is patient and informative must be his cousin. I just called for prices on KEF...he said he wouldn't quote...Also the Denon 5700 and Yamaha DSPA1 are so "scarce" that he wouldn't quote that either. I guess if I need a sony walkman.....

I just purchased a receiver from these guys and Nick is nothing short of great. He's very patient and knowledgable. The store's good selection and same day shipping make buying from AVI a no-brainer. One of the best shopping experiences I've had this year.

I spoke with Nick at AVI, he seems to be very nice. I asked for the price
of a Yahama receiver, Nick told me that Yamaha forbids mail order. I asked
for a Sony receiver STR-DA333ES, he quoted me a good price and informed me that
they are authorized Sony Dealer, which I confirmed on the Sony web site.
I ordered the Sony receiver. So far, I had good impression with AVI.
I will vote when I receive the goods.

I just bought a Pioneer Elite DV-05 dvd player at a great $710 including shipping. Nick promised to send it UPS tomorrow. The price was a match of Reference Audio Video (another authorized dealer) that had the drawback of sales tax for me. The original quote from A/V had been $725 which they dropped by $15 to match the competition. The Pioneer web site lists the company as being "Film & Music Audio Video" with a disconnected phone number but the same address. They claimed to still be authorized but that Pioneer was being lame on updating their web database of dealers.

The other companies with low prices (Uncle Stereo, Electronics4Sale, Techman) did not show up as authorized 'elite' dealers at the pioneer web site. Their best price was $700 and they weren't authorized.

I just purchased a Denon AVR-2800, and found Nick to be very friendly and helpful. I ordered the receiver at 5:00pm and it was at my door at 9:30am the next day, double boxed. Not only did AVI have the best price I could find, they are also an authorized dealer! I would definitely use them again.

I ordered a Denon AVR-3300 from Nick. He was pleasant and helpful. Even though the price was slightly higher than others I received, I went with AVI for two reasons. One, they had the item in stock, and it went out the day I ordered, double-boxed. I would have had to wait for other vendors to get the item in. Two, they are an authorized Denon dealer. Everything went very smooth, and I had a very positive experience.

I called and spoke to one of their salespeople. He quoted me on a demo Yamaha receiver. The pricing was excellent. I asked him to hold it and that I would be there in 45 minutes. I showed up 45 minutes later and no demo unit to be found. They couldn't locate the sales person I spoke with. After a lot of arm twisting and another 45 minute wait, they agreed to knock down the price of a new unit. Maybe the key for dealing with these guys is mail order. I sure won't do it in person again. Low marks for customer service.

I purchased my home theater system ( Sony 53" TV, Sony Receiver, Sony DV Player, Snell Acoustics Speakers, etc.) and had good experience. Make sure that you ask for the owner- Elias.

PURCHASED A SUNFIRE AMPLIFIER CAUGHT ON FIRE.. SENT BACK TO STORE AND THEY REFUSED TO REPLACE JUST GET IT REPAIRED.. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE... TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE...
