Meade ETX-125 PE
Up front, I should tell you that I only kept this scope for a short time. Not due to any deficiencies, though. It simply wasn't well suited to my type of viewing. The long focal length and narrow field of view limited its usefulness on many of the deep-sky objects I concentrate on. It does offer sharp optics, compact size, light weight, and accurate go-to mechanics. It's a fine instrument for planetary viewing.

Meade ETX-125 PE
Have tried to work with 2 units. First did not last 4 weeks. Dec motor filed and scope returned to seller. second unit dec motor failed after 32 days ownership. sent to Meade for repair. Repaired unit would not maintain pointing. returned to Meade once more. OTA replaced. Repaired unit electronics began to burn after 2 weeks of use. Unit quality is very poor.
