Astro-Physics 155mm EDT
Got this wonderful scope for more than 10 years now.
The optics are nearly perfect, there is only a litte halo at venus. Watching planets is always big fun, there a so much details on, lot of different colours. On the moon you can find more details than you are able to paint ( if you do ).
When seeing is perfect, you have the feeling you are on the moon.The 600´er mount is stable enough for this heavy weight tube. It stand´s in my one dome. So I got no problems with setup or cool down the triplet.
If it´s worth it? Yes, it was very expensiv ( bought it in germany where the price was roundabout two times more than in the u.s.!), but when you are interested in a perfect
refractor ( telescope ) the AP 155 EDT is first choice!
