TMB 152mm f/7.9 (Achromatic)

I have bought this scope a few months ago second hand in mint condition and have observed about 6 time with this instrument. Startest in and out of focus total identical, textbook diffraction rings.
Mechanical well build and cool down about 30 minutes.

There is a bleu halo on bright objects, but with a fringe killer filter you can elininate this for more than 90%.

This scope looks like a classic refractor; white and black with long dewshield. On my telescope I have a WO crayford focuser, it works very fine wthout image shift.

For the money you get a very well performing telescope, it shows many details on Jupiter, Saturn and the Moon, and even for DSO it performs very well.
I had a side by side test with a Skywatcher 150/1200 and a C8, and this TMB was far ahead on Jupter and the Moon; more contrast and a steadier view. The Skywatcher gives a bit a soft view, and delicate details on Jupiter faded away, but in the TMB they were easy visible.
On DSO it performed as well as the C8.
