Enterprise 8" Newtonion mirror f7
I ordered this optic from Ed Beck in 2000. Used in tandem with a 1.3" secondary mirror also made by Mr.Beck at Enterprise Optics in Ca. Star tests show textbook patterns both sides of focus ,contast and image sharpness outstanding! I dont think a finer newtonian is available. Had the mirror tested at local lab and tests (foucalt and ronchi confirmed star test , mirror has perfect correction and very smooth surface. In good seeing conditions the views of the planets and moon are refractor quality with abundent and crisp detail very contrasty on Jupiter and Saturn. I estimate this mirror to be better than 1/16 wave (which they advertise ) more likely 1/20 wave or better. If you want a quality mirror that wont cost a smaal fortune I highly recommend ENTERPRISE OP)TICS! You won't get a bad mirror from them.
