At first I was skeptical but after I ordered I was 100% convinced. There is a lot of selections of DVDs, their web page is very well organized and the buying experience (ease of seleciton, checkout etc..) was superb. I received my DVDs 2 -3 days later and returning them was a snap. They also keep you updated of new selections and they provide useful movie suggestions.

Why do u charge people $15.95 for free promotional offers?? The service was good but i don't like being billed for free promotionals. You get a one for service.

Recently the service is getting really worse.
They changed their billing software, and this software overcharged me. You never know when they are going to charge you. They can charge you at any time.
The problem is that they do not have customer service phone number. If they over charged you, they would never return your complain email, not to mentioning
returning your money quickly.
Be carefull.

NetFlix charged a credit card that I removed authorization for. I wrote to them about it and they send me a reply on how to change my credit card. NetFlix is going downhill and it won't be long before I cancel my account with them.

It's imposible to cancel and they charge for "free" introductory rentals. Reminds me of old CBS record club,only worse.At least their introductory offer was honored.

Netflix started out ok, but I've had serious billing problems with them. They also did not honor free rentals. When writing several times I would be promised a future credit but that never happened. They will not undo any wrongfull charges on my account either. I actualy had to close my Visa account and open another different one to stop their charges, even after I cancelled the service.
Don't give them your charge card number. Also note they offer NO TELEPHONE NUMBER for customer assistance on their plan!!!!

I've been a member for over a year. I'ver nver had any billing problems. I rent 8 or more a month. With their ne Marquee program you can have unlimited rentals for $15.95 a month. An excellent deal. I've rented 16 so far thhis period. If I had gone to Blockbuster it would have cost me almost $60. What a deal!!

Netfix was my favorite site - Now, not only did they discontinue 7 day rentals without any noice at all, they do not return e-mail questions and complaints. Ive sent both and after 3 weeks, still no reply!

I've been with Netflix about a month and rented 12 DVS's so far. It's worked great with most DVD's coming within 4 days or so, although some took up to 7 days. Returns are easy. Going through the mail is best part since it all comes right to my door. The only potential problem: I returned a DVD that never made it back. I notified them and they took care of it but I wonder what happens if they don't take care of it.

Netflix really lacks in their customer service, the email approach does not work, you can call a toll free number @ 1-888-638-3549. This number of course is not found on their website, you have to really search around for it, but I have since just called this customer number and they have been helpful, and solved my problems very promptly and left me satisfied when I hung up unlike their emails, which never give you an answer. Other that their support I think they have a great service, I mean for $15.95-$19.95 for unlimited movies, you could possible rent up to 20 movies per month, blockbuster would be like $60-$80, for the same movies. Or go with the marquee plus for $34.95 which could alow you to rent over 32 movies per month. Their delivery 90% of the time I order movies Monday and have them by Friday which I am content with for the weekend. But their returns I feel take much longer, sometimes over a week to two weeks, it has got to be them taking their time to check them in, rather than the post office. But I would recommend anyone that hates to go to the video store to only find out that the movie you want isn't there, just reserve any new release and it will be mailed to you on the release date.

It is easy to access and service is prompt and friendly. Have told
several friends about it and they all agree.

They have really gotten worse in service. DVD selections is still tops compared with blockbuster or hollywood, though not much for foreign movies. Another new site webjade.com offers similar rentals but carries mostly Hong Kong movies and other Chinese movies currently. Watch out netflix!

If you know how to use them they are great. Find the I mailed it buttons and make sure to return your movies the day after you watch them. You can get so many rentals every month and it only cost's 20 bucks. The internet is finally becoming practical in the business world because of companies like netflix.

we've just started using netflix about 2 weeks ago. Our dvd's were in our mail box the monday after we had ordered them on friday night......wonderful!!!!
i think we have decided to cut up the blockbuster cards!!!

I have been a member of Netflix since 05/00. For the first couple of months the service was good, movies were shipped out on time and I would receive them in 3-4 days and the same the returns. For approximately the last 2 months, the service has severly degraded. Movies that are released for shipping are still shown as "released for shipping" for atleast 2 more days. Is this they "delay" tatic, I dont know. Returned movies are not checked in for atleast a week days, thereby delaying further movies in the queue. Over 80% of the requested movies always seem to be out of stock! This can only mean that they are trying to run a very tight ship by maintaining a very minimal number of copies.

I'll probably give it another month and if the service continues to be the same, I have to find another. It's sad because I was a very strong proponent of this service initially and had recommneded this to several friends, now I wish I didn't. Give it a service rating of 3... and quickly declining.

I was interested in NetFlix from the insert card with my DVD player so I went to their website and found that before you could find out how much anything would cost you had to actually sign up for the service.

Since I was unwilling to sign up for something when they wouldn't tell me how much the bloody thing costs, I ended up finding this site.

As if not telling how much their service costs was enough, having read some of the problems mentioned here, I will steer clear of them. They have shady deal/record club written all over them.

I'd rather deal with Blockbuster, at least they don't try to hide screwing you over. Worst case scenario, I'll buy the darn things.

They are always late with delivery, I havn't seen a movie for a week although I have an unlimited rental thingy. So I am going to cancel my account with them. Thier selection is good, but all movies that are popular are out all the time. I was a member for two month and about 20 DVD's that I selected were never there, out of stock, for two month???? Run a better business and buy 100 of them so everybody were able to engoy them.

join them for a month and cancel since your second month is going to be hell.
