I don't think I've ever seen anything like this before. It drew
me into the story like nothing ever before. It was excellent and
quite chilling. I love it.

I found that it was arealy good story, very imagitive so good it didn't need chicks in swimsuits to get me to like it. The characters are mistereues and that adds to the story.

Vampire Princess Miyu was absolutly tragic. It was, in its own way, also funny. I just love Miyu's laugh. Larva and Miyu's stories were both sad and I cried the first time I saw the second volume. Just the same, this is WAY out there in the world of coolness!

Vampire princess miyu is the best anime i've seen yet (though el hazard also deserves full mention!:)) the animation was excellent, the story line was increadibly dark and romanticly set. the characters are well-developped (the irony of Himiko's situation as a soon-to-be-vampire and miyu's dilemma about trying to be woman, vampire and shinma hunter all at once) and are heart-wrenching. larva is especially eye-catching, and it's hard not to feel for him. he's locked behind the mask and yet doesn't really mind... this is a very sad and slightly depressing series, but it makes you think, and is VERY well done. i recommend it with top honors!

Miyu is amazing...a confusing, disturbing story that shows a completely differnt light on vampires. The stories can sometimes have you crying. This is an awesome, well-animated, almost philosophical anime.

GYPSY09 SAYS: THIS IS ONE OF THOSE THINGS YOU WATCH, AND A WEEK LATER STILL FIND YOURSELF SAYING "DAMN, I WANT TO WATCH THAT AGAIN." MIYU IS NOT ONLY THE CUTEST LITTLE CREATURE ON EARTH, BUT A CHARACTER THAT LEAVES YOU QUESTIONING HER NATURE. AND IF NOT FOR ANY OTHER REASON, WATCH THE VIDEOS TO SEE LARVA ROCK OUT IN ALL OF HIS "INTIMIDATION GUY" COOLNESS.

This is my favorite anime ever!! the story is really good ( especially in the manga) and the characters are VERY INTERESTING, to say the very least! I recommand this series to everyone. Oh... For those of you who are interested Japan has made a short running TV series, but no released has been made in the Untied States ( and thats asuming that a company has bought the rights).
OVERALL VAMPIRE PRINCESS MIYU IS EXCELLENT!!

I finally know who the hell Miyu is at episode 4, but am still a bit questioning her futre.. what she'll do and what the spiratulist will do

I definately recommend the Vampire Princess Miyu OAV's, as well as the Manga and comic book series. It is definately worth watching for those who have a fascination for creatures of the night. Larva plays more than one role in Miyu's life, as her guardian, slave, and possibly her lover by the way they are around one another. It can sometimes leave you misty eyed and feel sorry for the young vampire. Its definately a 10 all the way!
