I really enjoyed this. It has excellent animation and is just
exciting to watch. It has to be one of my favourites.

It has a great storyline and the characters are great.
I had the pleasure of watching the original japanese version and it is simply breath taking. I mean... the colors, the movements... even the fight scenes are PERFECT.

I think that animaton was perfect, but in my opinion the ending was too happy.
I've listened about a cinema version. Some people said that it is better.
But I now one thing, some times I would like to be a cyborg.

Animation quality was right up there next to Akira. Characters were well-done and the story line was excellent; dark, moody and visually beautiful; reminded me very much of Blade Runner. Lots of cool toys for hardware freaks too!

This is probably my second favorite anime. The animation is good, but its really the storyline that counts in this movie. This movie deals with a lot of issues, and had me debating topics concerning artificial life.

This is the absolute worst anime I have seen. The story is crude as is the art. And I wasted $30 to buy it on DVD.

I saw it on the Sci-Fi channel so it was probably edited, but anyway it was a descent story and smart. I literally shouted for joy when they killed the last country music star. But, how could it have taken them taht long to get rid of country music! I hoped people would realize rather soon that country music sucks!

I did not think this was awsome but it was good enough for me to make a copy of and watch again. I like the plot and the villain dan claude. I just wish the action scene at the end was more intense. I felt as if I was watching a musical. One other thing is I don't like Max's dubbed voice on the movie.
