Good action oriented flick, as a newly introduced individual to this type of anime, it was quite a pleasant surprise.

For some inexplicable reason I really love this film! Probably because the line separating the good guys from the bad guys was almost non-existent (I think the "heroes" in this story committed more atrocities than the villains!), and a government agent who can get away with wearing a leather jacket and no shirt (Private Eye Goku anyone?) is something I find to be tre' cool.

I saw a bootleg subtitled version of this anime years ago and fell in love with its no holds barred action and political/moral theme, hell I even love the ending theme song! I think it is unfortunate that Manga Entertainment decided this title should be released as dubbed only (my ears bled listening to their oh-so-wonderful dubbing for "Wind Ninja Chronicles" aka "Ninja Scroll"). Oh well, maybe a DVD version could solve this problem (and save my sanity).

This is quite possibly the worst anime ever created. It stole nearly everything from Bubblegum Crisis, which isn't exactly the best role model for a series. Even more unfortunate is that everything it stole from BGC, it stole from the worst character of BGC: Priss. Angel is just a less attractive version of Priss. The only good thing about this anime was... um, nothing, I guess. This sucked.

The animation was well drawn but poorly animated in places. The storyline was original enough, but still old. The voice acting of Angel sounded too young, Angel is supposed to be an experienced agent but when screaming she sounds like a three year old. The ending had room for expansion but as far as I know no other episodes were made. All in all the action sequences are good but the story's melodrama makes the time in between fights boring.

I can't beleive some people hate this anime. This was really good. I think the plot was very interesting an unpredictable. I also liked how angel started to change through the movie. The action is really good to me, and the animation may not be the best but I can't find anything wrong with it.

Exactly man, this anime really kicked ass. These assholes get on my nerves too. Especially the one who wrote this review "This is quite possibly the worst anime ever created. This was the first anime i ever purchased. I wasn't sure what it was like because i never saw it before. After viewing, on thought went through my head...
IT DOESN'T GET ANY FUCKIN BETTER THAN THIS!! THE MOVIE KICKED TOTAL ASS!!

This is one hell of an anime. While some of the animation isn't quite the best, it still blasts many out of the water. What I really liked was the story, not only was it a complicated nest of lies buried in lies, but it managed to pull it all together at the end in relative sanity. I reccomend this one for violance buffs and for those looking for a cool and twisted story. I like to call it a combination of Total Recall, and X-files. Maybe that seems a little strange but so is this anime, in a good way.

Excellent blend of smart SF,action and gratuitous violence.The psychic combat and cyborg action sequences are superb. Fast paced and relentless. Gripes - the animation is very average, and the conclusion of the series is disconcertingly abrupt. Highly recommended.

I was pleasently surprised to see blood, gore aplenty with a rather interesting story. You can have it all, it seems.
