The animation was very good. I would hope to see it at the same caliber as Ghost in a Shell some day. The story line tied in towards the end. The characters where good except that when it was dubbed into english, the boy looking for his lost football player dad, came out really bad. It was an obvious attempt to over act the part. The funny part was the ease with which our hero eliminated his opponents. Sad was knowing the character could not really love someone, or could he. Yet our leading lady was falling for him and still had the memory of another in her heart. Depressing, not to me, 8man came through. Uplifting, he took control of his life by starting a new business.

it was the first animation that i had seen and it got me adicted to this stuff!

Animation is OK. Plot line isn't too bad, but is basically similar to Robocop, Bionic Man, or any of those other rebuild-the-cop type of shows.

But the story, for the most part, kept me glued to the screen except during the scenes with the kid, who is a typical anime brat. Its almost as if the editor fell asleep!! I think if they cut ALL of it out the story would still be intact and would have also kept me on the saner side of the road.

One of the first Anime I ever saw. It was on N1 TV if anyone remembers that old station.
