Definitive Technology Pro Tower 400
I've had these speakers for about 2 months now. I think they outperform most speakers in the <$2,000 range. I compared them to Boston Acoustics VR960 and 970, Infinity Overture 3, Klipsch (not sure model #, $1,200), Polk RT1000P, and the DefTech BP2002 and 2004. They sound excellent in every area. The bass is musical and deep, I was surprised with 6.5" woofers. Excellent speakers overall, incredible speakers for the price. Very attractive styling as well.

I've had these loud speakers for 3 weeks now and I'm really impressed with them. For the money (I got them for $990 for the pair), they sounded as good (to my ear) as speakers that cost more than double. I kept reading good things about them, but every store I went to kept trying to get me to a "higher end" line. I finally decided to go with the ones that I liked, and I couldn't be happier!

I've out them through the paces fairly well, and they have not disappointed me yet. They highs are crisp and clear, and the 4-6.5" subs (2 per speaker) put out more than enough bass to shake my living room.
