Excellent eye relief.
Very close to being parfocal with my 15 MM of the same LV Series.
Average on brightness.

My 10 mm LV Vixen is very good in the centre of optical axis with sharp image; but if the planet goes just a little out of the centre, it starts to take a chromatic aberration that grows till the edge of the eyepiece. This defect is larger in my dobson 12" F6 than my Celestron C8.
If I use the rubber guide there is not blackout but if I exclude the rubber guide, because I want use the glasses, it is enough tiring to see the image because many times disappears .

Excellent eye relief. Good sharpness to edge. Slight ghosting. However, the view is much dimmer than a plossl of similar focal length.

I think this eyepiece is good but not excellent. It's good for general planetary work and splitting doble stars, but for planetary nebula and other deep sky work it's not recommended. I feel it has little contrast compared to a Radian, but for beginners the difference isn't notorious. Eye relief is excellent.

Not a very bad eyepiece but still a bad... I did many times this experience : i use a clavé 12mm after the LV 10mm and after a clavé 8mm. Each time i see less things with less contrast on a more gray background in the LV 10mm.

Excellent eyerelief of couse, but not as impressed overall with this e.p. as I expected for the price. So much glass causes a smokier image. Somewhat fainter images than compared with a 12.5 mm UO ortho at half the price. Not neccessarily saying I don't like it, it just isn't used as much as my orthos! Great on the moon! Better results in dark skies. I'm using a 10" f/4.5 dob.

A decent mid priced eyepiece! contrast & eyerelief are good. there are better midpriced eyepieces out there, but there are also worst ones!

Superb eyepiece! Great eye relief and extremely comfortable to use. Views are a little dimmer than a friends Celestron Ultima. I bought it too replace the hopeless Meade 4000 9.7mm and it does that in style. I got mine in a sale for £50, which is fantastic value but would normally cost £100.
I'am happy to recommend it. Who cares how it compares to a TV Radian or Panoptic, thats not fair competition, they cost at least twice as much!

Positive:
The eyerelief is great. I wear eye glasses and have strong astigmatism in my eyes. Using this eyepiece is great for me, so I can observe with glasses. Great for M57 and globulars and so on.

Negative:
Observing the planets gives some reflections in the glass surfaces. The view is a little bit "milky". I will keep this eyepiece, but will go for the TMB monocentrics for planet observations (however with out eye glasses!).
Daytime usage (sun observing with a solar screen at the objective of the telescope) is troublesome (small eyepupil). You have to position your eye very precisely at the eyepiece.
