Thanks to all the people who commented here before me for making my decision to order from SoundPros an easy one. I was seriously considering paying over $200 more at a local store for my Sony STR DA30ES receiver after hearing all the bad experiences people had with some other mail-order companies.

I hear that everyone is saying nice things about Scott; I spoke only with Melody, and she was VERY professional. I called pretty late when I made my order, so they couldn't ship it the same day. The package was not double-boxed, but it came in perfect condition and reasonably fast (curiously, it was shipped from Hawaii).

I still haven't checked out the amplifier section of my new receiver, as I am still waiting for the Tannoy speaker system to arrive. Now I need to work hard to convince my wife that we need that DVD player soon... When that happens, I know who I am going to call.

The Sound Pros are curtious and very prompt. Scott is a great guy and will answer any questions you may have. His sense of humor is warped and his knowledge is vast. He tried to ship my new Kenwood car stereo ASAP. took two days to ship from one coast to the other and he made sure I was happy! I know I'll buy the rest of my components from them in the near future.

I called Soundpros and was looking for a VCR to replace my old one that died. Scott informed me that he didn't carry the one I was looking for, but recommended a local dealer to me. The local matched the price I had found and I was very happy. I commend Soundpros for actually recommending someone else of quality and not just shrugging me off when they don't carry a product themselves.

"Would like to say Scott at The Sound Professionals transformed my so-so
system into one I am enjoying more everyday. It all started with an
upgrade of a CD player that went "Wynken, Blynken, and Nod." I opted for
the Onkyo DX-C540 as replacement and soon realized other weak links in
the chain. I must say, about twenty or so Emails later Scott had pretty
much reeducated me on a possible state-of-the-art system. He very
patiently answered all my questions with deftness. I ended up with my
current dream system consisting of Onkyo's Dolby Digital Receiver
TX-DS656; DVD/CD Player w/Dolby Digital/DTS DVS-717; 6-disc Carousel
DX-C540 and the Infinity Minuette LMPS Theater Pak CMS-2. I know Scott
has a lot better stuff there but he tailored this for me and every time
that subwoofer kicks in I know something was missing before. Okay, so
I'm a happy camper and Soundpros made it so. Can't recommend them more
highly and, of course, Scott's guiding hand and expertise, is nonpareil.

Wow is all I need to say!! Great customer service!!!!!!!!!! Excellent information regarding decisions that I will be making on certain equipment! Scott really knows his stuff! I first found soundpros through e-bay. After winning an auction, I wrote them a couple of e-mails and then Scott called me. I talked to him for a very long time and he helped me make a couple of decisions about other purchases I planed on making. After everthing was said and done, I wound up spending $1700 on A/V equip. I was very happy when my products arrived double boxed so nothing was damaged during shipping. I did however get a tv that had a broken control panel cover - this came from another warehouse and a different shipping company so he never actually saw the product before it was shipped out. Scott is working on getting me the part as I write this. Their prices certainly blow away the retail stores. Overall he is very knowledgeable, kind, and overall ready to help in any way that he can. Call him or e-mail him and he will help with anything you need. I will most certainly buy from him in the future, because I need to upgrade my speakers next.

I purchased a Denon AVR-5700 from Scott and he provided me with the best service I have ever had. I have bought tons of electronics from the internet and from around town, but until a few days ago never encounted anyone like Scott. Whenever I asked a question about anything he knew the answer right off the top of his head (almost like the equipment was attahced to him ^_^). He was also very nice and patient while I worked out some problems with my bank. Don't think for one moment you have had the best in prices and service until you work with Scott. Thanks Scott!!!!!!

Have you ever been overwhelmed by a salesperson's pitch to you? I was totally taken back with the enthusiasm and
verbiage directed towards me by Scott during our first, second, and third conversations. The context of his " Guarantee
of Service Excellence " could have been provided by any salesperson wishing to dismay any second thoughts that a
prospective buyer would want to hear to finalize his sale. This I may say very openly created a huge amount of
skepticism and doubt in the sales approach. I have heard the same lines a thousand times before. However, now I can
state that I am extremely satisfied and eager to say that all of my reservations about Scott have been put to rest as I
am totally satisfied with all of the promises that were told me and that everything that was stated has been met and /
or exceeded. I am totally satisfied with his performance and will gladly renew my relationship with Sound Pro's EACH &
EVERYTIME that I am going to make a purchase that they can supply me with the equipment that I want.

Scott, thanks for all you have done for me, Knowledge transfer and Equipment delivery.

Scott you will be hearing from me again within the next two weeks.

I searched for a great price on a Sony Preamplifier, and found that SoundPros had the best price that I could find. Then, I ordered the unit on the internet for next day delivery. I recieved a confirmation call; the unit was in stock, and I received it the next day. Soundpros had extremely professional and knowledgable staff, and spent time with me on the phone answering all of my questions. I'll definitely order all of my gear from Soundpros in the future!

Not as good an experience as most. I ordered a Harmon Kardan Total Control remote. Apparently my internet order was lost and never processed...Technical glitch I was told. I exchanged a couple of e-mails with Scott and replaced the order. Because I've waited almost 3 weeks for my order, I thought SoundPros would be willing to refund at least the shipping charges for the aggravation. Nope...the best they were willing to do (at this writing) is send the shipment 3 day instead of UPS ground. I still haven't received the order (should be here today or tomorrow) so I'll repost if anything changes (for better or worse). Have to admit that their prices were excellent, despite my low rating of their order entry and apparently their customer service. Not sure whether I will order from them again.

All I can say is "awesome".Scott worked me out a system which included 1 Pioneer
Elite VSX-27Tx,1 dv-05 2 Pair of Overture 3's,1 CC3 Center,1 HPS1000 and all the associated cables.All product was delivered in perfect shape by UPS ground{double boxed} and the system is Incredible.I will purchase again and hope to be able to afford the new Pioneer Elite 64" HD Big Screen Soon!Thanks again

Emailed him several times with no reply questioning my order, has failed to send my subs very quickly, been about 2 weeks since the order. Maybe they will come this week and he will reply to me, but until then my vote stands at a pathetic 1.

Product I ordered was not in stock. After 10 days I inquired. They offered to upgrade the mailing when the product came in. Thye were very courteous and professional. It is true that I waited almost a month for final delivery, but that was the "out of stock" problem. Might be something you would want to check on before placing an order.
