Efston Science
I deal with Efston as an in-store customer rather than mail order. Their stock is extensive and their staff friendly and helpful. Their prices are close to or perhaps a little higher than other dealers in Canada and the US. Orion products are usually sold at the same price as in the US without the hassles and costs of mail order.

Have mostly had a good experience with them, through the mail and in person. Their marked prices are high, but they will come down if you are serious. Some delays on my last shipment, but they fixed it as soon as I called (I was told it wasn't in stock and would have to wait but had to give them a nudge). A good place to browse, but you have to ask for help when you want it.

I've bought a couple of scopes from Efston Science over the years. Easy to deal with, knowledgable and helpful each time. I agree with one of the previous comments about lowering the price a bit if you're serious...they'll lower it a bit if they can.

As an in-store customer, they have a good selection and knowledgeable staff.
With all the goodies around, nice place to stop by and browse.
Their prices are bit on the steep side, but they'll come down if you stick to your guns. Some oddities; they'll sell out of something and not restock it for a while (i.e. Lumicon UHC filters, Antares diagonals/eyepieces, or the CCD Cook Book) but they'll have tonnes of Televue Everbrite diagonals sitting around.
I ordered a Meade Starfinder scope from them, and it arrived right on the nose of when the salesperson said it would be in (8 weeks).

I've ordered from them a couple of times. Courteous on the phone and helpful. Orders were received in a reasonable time and well packed. Prices are a little high on some items. Will order from them again.

I have dealt with EfstonScience as an in-store customer for over fours years now and I have to admit that I have been more than pleased with the service and product. Their show room is a "magic land" and their observing sessions are a blast. One particular employee whom I won't message has been extremely helpful in both pre and after sales. He is remarkably efficient and knows his stuff. It has been a pleasure dealing with EfstonScience and I look forward to many more years to come.

i have dealt with these guys for a about a year or so, selection great, if they don't have it they'll get it, service great,prices a little high but you can get them to match others prices, i will keep dealing with them.

You can't go wrong at Efston Science. Deal with Glenn...he'll make sure you leave happy. Excellent service by all staff though. Prices equal or lower than other local stores. One thing about dealing with Efston...you never have to worry that they are going to "con" you.

Good staff, friendly service. Mail order items received in a reasonable time. Prices on some items are higher than competition but will gladly pay knowing if I have a problem these folks will be there for the long run. Will order from them again.

These guys are certainly the "super store". They have friendly, helpful staff and a great selection. Prices are a bit high, but I'm sure they have a lot of overhead compared to other stores. I have found them a bit inflexible at times (won't take trade-ins, won't bust apart an OTA from the mount, etc), but I'm sure they've become this way from experience. Overall, it's a great place to shop!

Excellent show room, sales folks sometimes too busy to serve potential, esp on weekends. Prices are fair, return policy is good.
