I paid $414.00 delivered for a Sony STR-DE915 brand new. Do I have to say more? It took about four days to get the receiver and I'm very happy with them. You do have to join a buyers club for $50 a year, but they offer a trial membership or the $50 spread over 12 months. Their prices are so good I'm staying!!

Can anybody say SLOW!!!!! I ordered a Panasonic DVD A-110 from them and asked if they were in stock and was told yes. A few days later I called to check on the order and they assured me everything was fine. 4 days passed and I called again and was told sometimes it takes a while, so I asked if they were sure they were in stock and was told yes again. 3 more days passed so I e-mailed them inquiring about the order and thier response was that the dvd player won't be in stock until mid March!! I cancelled my order and found the dvd player at another location. Sure thier prices are ok, but shop around!!

Great prices on Denon equipment - BUT - I talked to Denon and the rep said they DO NOT authorize Shop4.com to sell their equipment, do not supply them (grey goods) and will not honor warranties from people who bought from them! I wonder what other manufacturers have the same (non)arrangement with them??

Great prices (no one even comes close).. Service is a little slow which keeps me from giving them a 10. I think that the comment about the Denon equipment is incorrect. Shop4 doesn't have any vendor relationships. They work with dozens of suppliers for their equipment. If you order your box comes from one of the suppliers, not shop4. I've found that all of their suppliers are authorized resellers and that all equipement is USA Domestic Warranty. I've gotten: Panasonic, Sony and Sharp from them with no problem.

I have purchased two items from shop4: a sony boom box which would have cost exactly the same(if shipping is included) as Best Buy, but I had a 10$ coupon so I bought it from shop4. I asked for white but received black. Wife not happy but I'm not going to return it. The other is a Panasonic A110. It took two weeks to get it, which is exactly what they told me it would be. It arrived double boxed though there was not packing material surrounding the inside box. It was fairly snug though. Anyway, to save $100 I felt waiting two weeks was fine. I may buy more from them throughout the year to get the most out of the $50 membership fee but I probably won't renew unless they improve their offering/pricing structure.

concerned about manufactures warranty
I called shop4 and was told
"merchandise is shipped from
manufactures authorized suppliers
and manufactures warranty is in
effect". I called KLIPSCH to verify
this and was told ' any merchandise
purchased from shop4 IS NOT COVERED
by Klipsch's warranty". When I
explained it was delivered from an
authorizd Klipsch supplier, Klipsch
said if payment was made to shop4
it is a shop4 sale no matter where it
was ultimately shipped from and the
MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY IS NOT
COVERED. For what it worth two
sales to shop4 produced merchandise
neither double boxed or was the
owners manual included in the box.

Prices were 40% below what I could
find locally. Service very good
never a problem with order numbers.
And delivery my last order took a
total of TWO DAYS UPS ground. Perhaps
earlier posts of slow delivery time
have been noted. All in all a grade
of 10. While a membership charge of
$49.95 is required annually I have
saved $400 plus in the short time
I have done business with them.

I have placed five orders with shop4
in recent months and on every occasion received good service and
excellent delivery times from as
little as two days to no later than
six days. Price wise those 5 purchases have saved me almost a
thousand dollars. All orders received
in good working order in factory
sealed cartons.

Bought some equipment for several xmas gifts through themm this year. They gave me different stories every time I called regarding shipping times, when they said the units were shipped they gave me various stories (each different) about why I would have to call the next day to receive a tracking number (this went on for about three weeks). They continued to charge my card for the cancelled membership and I am still trying to get them to refund the membership fee. Service has ranged from drab to outright rude. This is the worst online company that I have had the displeasure to deal with to date.

Can anybody say "shitty company" ? First they try to rip you off with that bogus membership fee($50). I ordered a dvd player. Later found a cheaper place. Sent in the proof as stated for 110% guarantee. Waited and Waited. Called to find out what was the problem. Each time I called the customer service didn't know what the hell was going on. Never received the difference yet. Ordered a take 5 system also. Tried to get tracking number on products. No tracking number or any response as to know when item was shipped. Waited 2 weeks for take 5. Later they told me that they stopped carrying the product. Cancelled the service after 3-4 weeks.

Overall: You CAN find cheaper prices and better service if you look around, just not here.
Customer service: fair->poor(most customer rep are somewhat rude if you are not ordering)
Price: fair
Product Selection: good (wide variety of products)

I bought HP LASERJET 5L printer last year. I paid almost $500 dollars with shipping and handling. Yes, I got my printer in a few weeks, but I never got a guarantee they promised me. My printer stopped to work in a few monthes later and I could not fixed witha waranty because I didn't have it, even if I should have it. I called them almost half an year, we had different kind conversations with all representattives in SHOP.4 but it didn't help me, because for getting a waranty I should have some documentations that SHOP.4 should sent me, but they never did.
For fixing my printer I should pay $80.00 fot the part they was not good, plus $60.00 for services. And all that was happened when I should have an waranty.
I cancelled my membershop with SHOP.4 and I still have some problems with that printer.

I bit the bullet and ordered speakers for my family room dolby digital system. (not my main home theater) I wanted the Klipsch Synergy KSB1.1 for front and rear and the KC-1 for the center. The cheapest I could find for the KSB1.1 was $199/pair from Uncle's Stereo. The center was $219. Shop4.com had the 1.1's listed for $139 and the center for $139. This is a SIGNIFICANT difference. They get a 9 and not a 10 because.
- They have no idea when and if an order shipped.
- My order arrived from 2 different places at different times. I was worried that they had screwed up because I only received one pair of speakers rather than 2. The next pair arrived the next day. Overall it was 5 business days for my order to arrive.

I PLACED AN ORDER TWICE, THE FIRST TIME THREE WEEKS PASSED AND WE NEVER RECEIVED
THE ORDER NOR DID I HEAR FROM THE COMPANY SO I CALLED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE
NUMBER AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH MY CREDIT CARD AND THE ORDER
HAD BEEN CANCELLED WITH NO NOTIFICATION TO ME. I PLACED THE ORDER AGAIN AND
THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN. FUNNY HOW THEY HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE CREDIT
CARD FOR THE ORDER, THEY HAD NO PROBLEM CHARGING ME FOR THE MEMBERSHIP FEE.
NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS CATALOG!!!!!!!

Ordered a "6 piece Klipsch Quintet Micro" from them for $289. All of the customer representatives confirmed that all 6 pieces came in the package. However, after placing my order, they cancelled it saying that the quintet package was only a 5 piece system. Obviously some poor communication is going on there. However, they did compensate me somewhat with 2 $10 coupons. Buying AV equipment from them is risky. Would I order from them again? Probably not AV equipment, but my kitchen needs a new set of corningwear. Ill give them one more chance.

I am totally disappointed with this company. I was planning on cancelling my membership form the beginnning, but decided to keep it incase I would find that "one special item" for less money through shop4. Well I found the item I wanted. The George Foreman family grilling machine. I looked under search, and the catalog number tryng to find more info on it and a price. Nothing was found. It is such a waste of time tryng to find this information. I will gladly drive the 25 miles to town and buy the product there. At this point I really don't mind paying the additional dollars(if there are any). I will be cancelling my membership early tomorrow morning.
