Paramount ME
The PME is an imaging platform and goes beyond other high end GEM mounts in many ways. All cabling is internal, there are no clutches, and it was designed for 100% remote operation in harsh conditions. The rated load capacity is 150 pounds of gear + 150 pounds of counterweights and I think this number is probably conservative. Once set up and aligned using the included TPoint routines, slews are consistently accurate to < 90 arc seconds across the sky.

Yes, it is an expensive investment, but once you set up it disappears from the picture and just works.

Paramount ME
You can find better mounts, but you'll pay dearly for them. After all these years this mount still provides the best bang for the buck out there.
