My workhorse DSO eyepiece with an 8" StarHopper. Worth every penny. Huge eye lens. One of the best low-power eyepieces for a 1.25" focuser. Sharp and clear to the edge. Eye relief a little long - takes some getting used to. Great quality plus Tele Vue service.

Excellent low-power views. Great contrast and sharpness.
Eye relief a little too long. Takes a while to get used to it.
Even so this is a great eyepiece.

Great eyepiece with long eye relief, which is both a curse and a blessing. I can use it with my glasses fine, which is the blessing. Without glasses you have to be careful of the "kidney bean effect", which is not present with the Meade 32mm.

I like this eyepiece. I have occasional small problems locating my eye because of the long eye relief, but since I wear glasses, the long relief is more of a blessing than a curse. Otherwise, the eyepiece seems to be very sharp even close to the edge.

Plobably the best possible low-power eyepiece in the 1.25" format. Biggest real FOV possible. Incredibly sharp and contrasty, even at the edge of field.

One of the best low power EP's, very good FOV, eye relief, sharpness, contrast, very flat field and sharp pinpoint stars all the way to the edge, works well with a good barlow and no trace of color or ghosting. Great for DSO hunting on a budget, Highly Recomend this EP.TV does it again!

Superb EP overall. My favourite for sweeping the skies. Stars are pinpoints right out to the edge. Brightness and contrast is excellent due to 4-element plossl design and multicoatings. A little too much eye relief causing occasional black outs but to be expected at this focal length. Excellent workmanship.

This is an excellent eyepiece. It is very sharp compared to generic 32mm Plossl's. The only problems with it are signifigant distortion and the eye relief is a bit too long, especially when used with a barlow or powermate.

I like this eyepiece, I also have a 35mm Panoptic and this gives it run. I use it mostly with a Orion Ultra Block filter for quick views of Nebulas. Good contrast. (8" Meade LX200)

I got this 32mm after giving the 40mm a try and found its a much better value than the 40mm(in my opinion),the FOV is 50 degrees verses the 40mm 40-42 degree FOV,so basicly you get slightly more power and the same apparent FOV you get in the 40mm(when looking at the same object),the 32mm view is easier to hold than the 40mm as well.The entire FOV is SHARP to the edge(eyeglass wearers try this EP with a 5X Powermate you'll love it).Televue optics (japan made) in my opinion is 1 of the best lines of plossls in the business and the term you get what you pay for is TRUE(though it took me over 30yrs to believe this lol).

This is a superb, 4-element plossl with excellent contrast, resolution, and
brightness. Eye relief is a tad too much but it is expected at this focal
length and design. Stars are sharp right to the edge in F10 and F4.8. The
price is a premium but consider that it is a perfect eyepiece in all respects
except field of view. Quality of material and construction is top notch. Very
highly recommended!

I traded my 40mm TeleVue Plossl for the 32mm version and I'm much happier. The eye relief is just perfect with glasses. I can find no distortions of any kind even at the edge of the sharp field stop. FOV is about as wide as possible in a 1.25" format. Contrast and light throughput is excellent. The 32mm is relatively small and lightweight. It is generally parfocal with other Plossls and Radians. Basically, this is probably the best general-purpose, low power 1.25" Plossl currently available.

This is my favorite eyepiece. Sharp to the edge with excellent field of view. I have not experienced any problem with the eye relief. This eyepiece provides excellent contrast in my 102 and is the best 1.25 I have used in my C-8. I have the older smooth side version made in Japan and have had the opportunity to view through several different samples with the same results. A clear winner when compared to other 1.25 32mm Plossls.

The TV 32 mm plossl is a good eyepiece. Sharp images all the way to the edge and a respectable field of view. Cosmetically, it looks very nice. It is the kind of eyepiece I would pull out to show my friends. The soft pull-up eye cup is also a bonus, although I never used it that much. I frequently compared this eyepiece with a 26mm Celestron plossl (f/10 Nexstar 5). Except for the extra field of view, the TV 32mm plossl did not perform much better than the 26mm plossl - same brightness and image quality in both. I reasoned that if the TV 32mm plossl was not much better than a celestron 26mm plossl, then why spend the extra $115.00 to buy this eyepiece? In sum, a good eyepiece, but over priced.
