requires more voltage to drive than some
power amps...does get hot playing guitar thru
it....but it does not thermal out like some.......
seems trouble free, bridged @ 1000 watts.....
I haven't owned the thing long......

Great amp. Very good sound compared to newer Carver A500x. I am using the TFM-45 on my mains and (2) A500x's on the subs. You can pick them up used for around $500. I have not found an am this good for that price. . .

Extremely good power amp. Will drive almost anything. For 2 channel audio its hard to beat.

I have always loved this amp since the firt day I purchased it new. It has tons of power and the sound quality is so rich and clean. It can cover the whole spectrum....

Carver has put out one of the BEST sounding, most NATURAL sounding amplifier I've EVER heard, aside from a 25,000 dollar tube counterpart.

TFM-45 is that way to go for both power and value.

I'd highly recommend this amp!

i haven't owned this amp long but it
sounds great and it does a good job
driving my amazing platium speakers.
and it wont get hot like most so called
high end power amplifiers.

I've got a pair of RS2 Infinitys made in the 80's that ohm out to less than 2 ohms and this amp has no problem and sounds better than the rest of the amps that died tryin. Runs warm at most have had 3 years still strong.
