Lee's Audio/Video
I ordered 3 Pioneer 607's from Lee. Fantastic pricing!!! You have to request a quote. Quote returned the next day. All 3 have been delivered within 6 days of order (5 for travel from Seattle to Dallas). All double boxed w/all paperwork. No hassles, what a concept. Tracking #'s on UPS ground, no problem.

Why a "9"? Nobody's perfect.

The cheapest place on the web for cordless telephones. Ordered Panasonic - KX-TG210 GigaRange 2.4 GHz Digital Cordless Phone at $159 plus shipping $6.95. The only drawbacks:
1. No toll free number to contact Lee
2. Unprofessionally managed. Requested him to provide me with the UPS tracking number after the phone had shipped. Lee did not call me back. Took me 3 long distance calls to get the information. Guess this is where he saves and passes along the savings.

Ordered a Pioneer DVL-919 LD/DVD combo player. Excellent pricing, but the first unit arrived unable to flip to side B on LD's. My complaint nearly fell on deaf ears, but I was eventually sent a replacement unit. The second player flipped LD sides just fine and seemed to work well in all other aspects, but it later developed a problem adjusting to different media. It would produce this terrible "gear-grinding" noise if I were to play an audio CD, eject the disk, then power the unit off. Sometimes, it couldn't complete the power down sequence at all. It would just blink the 'off' indicator. I had an even greater challenge getting the second unit to be received back, but it eventually went through also. Imagine my surprise when I was informed that both units "worked fine" when reps from Pioneer inspected the players. Hogwash, I thought! I was given a guilt-trip about restock fees incurred by the dealer, but a third and FINAL DVL-919 was shipped out to me. So far, this player was worked as it should (knocking loudly on wood). I later spoke to a rep from Pioneer who informed me that NO dealer is authorized to sell PIONEER products over the internet, and that "Lee's Video" did not show up on their authorized reseller's list. My advice? Proceed with caution.

Lee's responded promptly to my e-mails for information and pricing, and then beat the best price I was able to find. My purchase shipped only a day later than they said. Overall my experience was good and I would reccomend them.

Ordered an Onkyo reciever from Lee's on a Saturday. Was told it was in stock and would ship on Monday. I called on Tuesday when I did not receive my email confrimation. Was told it would ship by Wednesday. Called Thursday as no email received. Was promised it would ship by Friday. Was about to cancel order on Friday but received email as I was picking up the phone. When receiver arrived it was double boxed. The plastic bag covering the receiver was opened. Believe Lee's sells refurbished merchandise as new. I plan to report them to the BBB. Will not buy from them again.
