I have Naglers, Panoptics, Pentax XL's, Vixen Lanthanums, University Optics Konigs, and have bought, sold, and traded more eyepieces than I care to admit over the years, including two Russell Optics, the 15mm and 19mm, and have found them to be every bit as good as many of these premium eyepieces, at one third the price, you can't go wrong. Also, it's simply not true that they are not resellable, in fact they hold their value better than Televue's I bought a 28mm Nagler, and sold it a year later for 70% of what I paid for it, I bought a 15mm Russell and sold it three years later for 100% of what I had paid for it, JDBraddy

Most of these I have seen for resell went for about $5-10 less than the original price, which is not that much. This is a great eyepiece compared to many other pricier ones currntly on the market, but don't expect the bling-bling crowd to be impressed by them. I plan on keeping mine and probably getting a few more of his designs. I would rather support American free enterprise than Chinese manufacturing.
