Definitive BP-2004
Great sound. Fills the listening area. The built in sub sounds clean and produces excellent bass for a 10" sub. An adjustable crossover would have been nice, but you have to go up to the BP-2000s for that. Auto on/off on subs is great too. I think these speakers actually sound better than the BP-2002s. The 2002s have the same mid-range drivers and tweeters, but have a built in 12" sub in each tower. The mid-range gets lost and sounds muddy on the 2002s, whereas in the 2004, the mid-response in clear and clean. I talked the salesman down to $590 each, so the price was fantastic. Paired with a Yamaha RX-V2092, C/L/R 2002 Center, BP-2X Rear Effects, and BP-2X Front Effects, Movies are simply overwhelming, and of course, music is excellent too. Rob. (TritonSOG@aol.com)

Definitive BP-2004
These are great looking, great sounding speakers. If you want a speaker that will pull you intoa movie or out of reality for a bit, these are the speakers. I have never been tired after a movie until these. With the bipolar system the sounds surrounds you. You actually feel that you are IN the movie and not just watching the movie. I would highly suggest these speakers.

Crisp and clear sounding speakers, but the subwoofer is subpar.
You are much better off with a stand alone sub.
For the cost you would expect better than foam speakers!

Definitive BP-2004
These are great speakers. The person who gave them a 7 is clueless. The tweeters are aluminum and the drivers are cast magnesium.
