Angstrom 200
Excellent sound! Very good stero soundtage, and capable of vivid home theater experience. HOWEVER, very tweeky. Lots of pops/buzzes in switching. Lots of "backdoor" understanding necessary. Still a fine piece of equipment in this price range. Better than Lexicon in sound. Not as good ergonomics.

Angstrom 200
The Angstrom 200 is the best sounding surround preamp I have experienced. It lacks setup/configuration flexibility and fancy lights and buzzers. If you are in to tweeking your system then this unit is not for you. If you love highend stereo sound this unit is great as a preamp only. The surround is a bonus. The proprietary AC3 add on is a shame. Too bad they are currently out of business.

I bought mine for 150 bucks and my Pioneer rack sytem blows it away. I have two 16" in the boxes. My little AIWA sounds better....Ended up trading it for an RCA unit which rocks.
