Sound is awesome....Great

Lacks some frills, but beat HK, Denon, and Yamaha hands down.

Great combination of A/V and Stereo. A little expensive at first sight but well worth it after listening to it, and especially after side to side comparisons with HK avr-85, Yamahas and Pioneer 906s. Does not offer a lot of gadgets, but after two months of ownership, I did not miss any of those missing options. All the important ones are there and most importandly, it sounds great.

NAD T770
Lacks DTS and any DSP modes, but it does have 6 channel inputs for the future.
It is a nice receiver, built well, sounds better than it specs would lead you to believe. It is really not worth the $1600 retail price but at $1399 which it can be had for, it is certainly an excellent bargain !!!

The price is coming down making this a bargain. Excellent HT/stereo capability that most receivers can't match. How may AV amps can play music this well?

NAD T770
Lacks inputs and DTS but beats the competition in stereo mode. Much better musically against the Yamaha 995, Denon 3300 and even the Marantz SR-18. HT is adequate enough. May not have finer details but this is just an AV receiver! Pricing should be a bit lower though.
