Infinity RS-5
Married,Children and a budget.Hard to get a mega dream system without getting a divorce and selling the children. Infinity to to rescue. These speakers really rock the house and under budget to boot! Payed $370.00 for the pair at One Call.The most Bang for the Buck!! Highly recommended.

I haven't got my Infinity's yet but I just checked One Call's site and their quoteing $698.00 per pair. What gives?

Could not crank up the volume!
Clipping at +2db,I have owned these speakers for 8 months, fried the tweeter
and three months later both woofers burned up.
They sound good but cannot handle power.

These speakers NEVER clip on me - Buy a real reciever. Throw in SRV's 'Riveria Paradise', turn out the lights, crank it up, and prepare to be amazed. These speakers rock, esp. in the price range. Experiment with placement for bass.

Sound great when they work, but have had MAJOR clipping problems. Have blown both tweeters already, and service is sloooooow. I would stay away.

I don't get the people saying they have clipping problems. Maybe they've got poor quality amps or too much power. I've gotten them up to +5db on my Denon AVR-2800 (85W/ch) and it is clean as a whistle with a clean source recording.

The mids and highs are the clearest of any speaker in the price range (not that you can get these new anymore anyway) and the bass is nice and tight, though it isn't that strong. You can overrun the twin 6.5" woofers with a bass-heavy recording at high volumes (maybe that's what people are talking about) but if you're doing that you need to get a sub and set the RS-5's as medium or small.

NIce FULL sound. Very crisp and clean. They make an excellent addition to my surround sound system. I have them hooked out to a Kenwood 309 Reciever. Centre Channel is an Infinity CC-1, Rear Speakers are Infinity Minuettes. 10", and 250-Watt Powered Subwoofer w/Bass Optimization System.
Would recommend to anyone who loves true sound and not bass bass bass!
