Description: | Feel like there made of solid steel. Heavy but well built. Due to the high magnification and smallish objective lenses, the image is none to bright. The view is however sharp and clear. The FOV is sharp right to the edge of the view, and although only single coated, seem to handle reflections fairly well. There is a later model of this binocular known as the "Super Zenith" which is made of a plastic composite. They weigh half the weight of these monsters. The other benefit of this weight is that hand holding them irons out any minor tremors your body produce. You could say they are fitted with an archaic form of image stabilization! |
