very nice binoculars - the satabilization it's very better than the Canon's - in spite a narrow field of view and the yellow cast images they are great.

These things weigh almost 5 lbs! How do you avoid fatigue? At this weight, and when not used in a rumbling Russian tank, they are really tripod-only binoculars.

These are great binocs, but a bit heavy and a bit on the narrow field side. But the are considerably sharper than any of the Canon IS binocs. I know, since I have three of their models, 18x50, 15x45 and 10x30. with these you can see Saturns ring quite clearly, with the Canons it's just an elongation. The stabilization on these units is also WAY better than on the Canons, since these have high-speed gyroscopes in them. These are rock-steady even from moving vehicles, the Canon's -- their ads notwithstanding -- aren't. I give them a 9 instead of a 10 only because of the weight and bulk.
