Having owned numerous optics: binoculars, spotting scopes, riflescopes, I wanted something that is light, high quality, yet not to spend too much on it. With that quest in mind, I have been trying out different models between $150 to $600 range. Summit got my attention when a sales person in my local store told me about it. Their store does not carry it. But he bought it himself. So, what the heck, I went ahead and bought a pair. The optics is really good, much better than those pairs I have collected over the years and spent thousands on them. The field of view is excellent for a 10x binoculars. Brightness is truly amazing. It is almost free of color fringement. I wish it has a thumb dent in its design

It is the newest addition on my binoculars list. Wife bought it for me as Thanksgiving gift. When I first saw the package, my response was "zen what?" To be frank, as a optics snob, I have never heard of this brand until it showed up at my door step. As soon as I took it out for a quick test drive, I was amazed by its optical quality. The image is very, very bright and yield a very good, contrasty field. I was able to clearly see the street sign at least 100 yards away. I compared with my more expensive Zeiss Diafun. It beats Diafun in pretty much every aspect.

It comes with neckstrap and carrying pouch, both of which are carefully designed with a lot of thoughts put into. I sepcially like the well cushioned neckstrap that makes the carrying much easier. The binocular itself is light weight with only 24oz. Holding the binoculars is very easy. I don't have to worry about handshake or anything.

The anti-relection coating is just excellent. I look straight into the binocular and can hardly see any of my reflection, which means all the light has been transmitted through. That explains the blindingly brightness of the binoculars

I have to say it is one heck of deal out there for a high quality binocular like this. I have already convinced few of my hiking buddies to order them so they won't try to use mine during our trip this winter.

When I first received the binoculars, I was completely blown away by it solid build quality. It has a very pleasnt field of view. The image is sharp and vivid. I like its high contrast, which really pops the things out to give a 3-D look feeling. The focus is easy with enough tension so it won't drift away. It comes with Nylon carrying case and cushioned neckstrap. The sharpness is excellent. The sharpness is well maintained to 90% of the field of view. There are slight amount of pinchusion distortion. For $170 I paid, I think it is a great value. I had a pair of Leupold goldring before. I would have to say, in terms of quality on dollar to dollar basis, this one wins in every way.
