Zeiss Jenautic 7x50
Compare to Leica 12x50 BN, Jenautic has the following shortcomings:
1. The field is noticably smaller.
2. 7X power is not sufficient to resolve finer details.
3. Slightly color bias to yellow is noticed.
4. Poor eyecup. Short eyelief.
5. The view is not crystal clear as compared to modern phase coated roof.

But it is a venerable classic binoc. It is the antique worth collection.

Zeiss Jenautic 7x50
If only Zeiss ever made such binoculars. There is no reference anywhere to 'Jenautic' binoculars made by Zeiss. No books. No catalogues. No model ever listed in any Zeiss texts named 'Jenautic'. This model and those marked Zeiss 'Wetzlar' are fakes. There is plenty of reference material on Zeiss binoculars if one wants to check.

Zeiss Jenautic 7x50
The view is very sharp to the edge. Brightness level would be sufficient while observing the dark area of the bush. Balance on hands is not so comfortable as those world class Leica or Swarovski. Highly recommended in the price range.
