Zeiss Abbe Orthoscopic 6mm
I've viewed in over 100 eyepieces over the years. This and other zeiss ortho's deliver the best contrast and sharpness. I rate it slightly better than the also excellent pentax ortho's. Both are perfect or close to perfect.

Mars/Saturn in excellent seeing with 2X zeiss barlow Zeiss APQ 100/1000and the 0-6 was incredible.
As good as it gets. Your own eye will introduce a lot more errors than these amazing oculars.

Zeiss Abbe Orthoscopic 6mm
Hey guys, this is my BEST eyepiece. It beats my cluster of
Takahashis, TeleVues and Vixens. Although those eyepieces are among
the most supreme, the Zeiss is the best. Everything Zeiss makes
is the best, definitely. Every big, new-technology telescope (ex.AOs)
you see in magazines, sais Zeiss right next to it.

Zeiss Abbe Orthoscopic 6mm
This eyepiece(6 mm orthoscopic) is my most used eyepiece for planetary viewing. It gives 166X with my F10 fluorite refractor. Stunning contrast. If you want the best views for a high quality refractor/reflector on planets then these little beauties are the way to go. They are corrected for F10 and longer focal lengths.
