This review applies to the 66 mm fluorite doublet f/5.9 version. Very good star test (slightly softer outside focus than inside, but images are round and crisp). My guess is about 1/6 wave. Wonderfully functional with rotating focuser, fine focus extension on right focus knob, smooth sliding dew cap of ample length. Bracket for 1/4-20 screw also angled and shaped like standard Vixen dovetail so it attaches to any GP or Vixen mount with no rings or adaptor. Light weight and compact in aluminum case (included, but no diagonal or eyepiece). Best $399 travel scope I've seen. Absolutely stable on Vixen Alt Az mount.

Is this the 6.1 petzval or the 5.9version that you are referring to? How is the color on Jupiter, Saturn? Thanks...

A very nice grab and go scope, fit and finish are outstanding, optics are well corrected with a flat field and pin point stars to edge. False color on the the moon was minimal and unobtrusive. The two speed focuser very smooth for the most part, did have it get a little "sticky" with heavier eyepieces. Overall, a very good buy for a portable instrument, I'll be keeping this one. I bought the WO zoom eyepiece to use on trips and it appears to be a good match for the scope (soft case has one eyepiece hole)
