William Optics 28mm UWAN
I've owned the 28 UWAN for a number of months so it's time to give my impression. I've used this exclusively in my 14 inch f/4.7 TScope. I've also had the chance to use the 31mm "Terminagler" and a 30 mm GSO Superview in this telescope.
How does it stack up? It's miles ahead of the GSO and a few feet behind the Nagler. The 31 Nagler 5 is a tad sharper at the extreme edges. The UWAN is almost as good. It does get a tad soft at the outer f.o.v. I have to really look for it though, and 99% of the time it isn't noticable to me.

I like it more every time I use it. The other night I was looking at open clusters in Canis Major and Pupis using both my 14" and 20 x 80 binoculars. I remember noting (unusual for me, I usually do not take many notes), that looking at M41, I prefered the view in the binoculars until I put in the 28 UWAN which framed it perfectly.

I do like this eyepiece alot! I gave the optics a 9, but really it's closer to a 9.5 compared to a 10 that I'd rate the Nagler at. The value is an 8, because after all, it still costs 400 bucks. Overall it is a conservative 9.
