Description:Alt-Azimuth mount with worm drive on both axes. Worm is continuous and scope can be moved without touching the worm for rough pointing and then fine-tuned with two control knobs. Really slick system. Stated to take scopes up to 5.5 inches in diameter, but that's a bit large. Great for 4 inch or smaller.

Vixen PORTA Alt/Az Mount
I had one of these for about 6 months. I purchased it to use with a William Optics 80mm refractor as a grab-n-go setup. I found it to be impractical for traveling because of its awkward shape. I also was not a big fan of the aluminum legs. I can see some people liking this mount but it just was not my cup of tea so I ended up selling it.

Vixen PORTA Alt/Az Mount
This is a very well-built mount, but suffers from the use of poor quality hardware. After several months of use, the screws and nuts started rusting. For a mount that will be subjected to dewing, stainless hardware should have been used.
