i know who you are, i know all of your aliases. you cheated my four year old child out of the only thing he wanted for christmas of 99. all he wanted was spiderman movies. i hope that you are proud of yourself. oh and by the way it will not be too much longer before you will go down, you and your spanish speaking accomplice. your greed will ultimately come back to haunt you in the end. and you better hope that it happens in this life so that you will at least have a chance to ask for forviveness.

I ordered a video SET from them for my father's birthday last year (September '99). The set cost over $100, and of course, my father never received it. When he hadn't received it a month later, I tried to contact them via e-mail -- no answer. Then I tried calling their customer service line, only to find that it was out of order. I couldn't even access their website at that point anymore, because it was changing to videopremiere.com.
Once it did change to VideoPremiere, I contacted their new customer service line. They said that they were a new company now, and they did honor VideoShoppers orders, but only with an order number (which VideoShoppers never gave me). I then tried to dispute it with my bank (I used my check card, which debits my checking account), but by that time it was too late and they couldn't accept the claim because I had authorized the purchase. So I was out $100, and my father never received his birthday gift. I reported the company to www.web-police.org, and my complaint was received, but I never heard from the Web Police again.
DO NOT EVER, EVER DO BUSINESS WITH VIDEOSHOPPERS! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.

They were the most terrible "business" I have ever dealt with. We called the information for this place. They do not even exist. My fiance ordered a video 2 months before my birthday and six months later VideoShoppers said that they were still trying to get it from there "warehouse". I called them up and some spanish speaking lady gave me a cussing for wanting to know what the problem was after not receiving it in 6 months. My fiance immediately canceled the order from both VideoShoppers and his credit card, but was still charged for it until his credit card company went through the BBB and found out that they are a fraudulent company.

VIDEOSERVE.COM
A total scam~~BEWARE!!!!!.

Ordered one movie in 12/98, got charged 3 times for it, never received the movie or my refund. My credit card company only removed one charge--I ended up paying the rest. Later I discovered that the movie I had ordered was out of print, yet it’s still advertised today. Despite various e-mails, phone calls, and letters, no-one from the company responded to me. If you're a new victim, immediately call & write to your credit card company & dispute the charges—you only have a limited time to dispute the charges. Trust me, don’t bother to wait for this company to respond to your requests or to ship your order or to send you a refund—it WILL NEVER HAPPEN!!. Cancel your credit card number & get issued a new one. If enough people report this scam to the right places, then law enforcement will have no choice but to investigate—usually they wait to see if big bucks are involved. Keep all documentation. Here’s where you should report your negative experience with this company:
*your credit card company
*FTC at www.ftc.gov/ftc/knowfraudcomplaint.htm (online complaint form) Please complain here!!
*www.fraud.org (online complaint form). Please complain here!!
*BBB of Boston hasn't worked for me at all, but they also have an online complaint form at www.bbb.org.

Total frauds. Repeatedly abandon the old scam
and start up under a new name.

Current incarnation of scam: ShoppersHand.com
Previous incarnations:
VideoShoppers.com
VideoPremiere.com
MovieSaver.com
MA Attorney General has numerous complaints on each
of these previous scams but has not taken action.
BBB of Boston also shows numerous complaints.

In January 2000 they had left exposed on their web
site their entire customer list containing credit
card numbers, expiration dates, e-mail addresses,
phone numbers, videos ordered, etc, for over
10,000 customer records!

Newsgroup posts show numerous additional first-hand
accounts of people defrauded by these scammers.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE

This company is now known as Videopremiere. They do the same stuff as they were named as Videoshoppers. Double charge for a video. Never answer e-mails. Promises to deliver within a week and then says the videos are on backorder. Promises to credit my account and still waiting. Luckily my credit card company is handling this!!!

Do not believe them! Their new number is 1-800-419-3564 and in Massasschusetts
1-781-986-7100.

Thanks

This company should be investigated. Like many others I have had my credit card charged twice by them for a single item which I tried to order at the beginning of December 1998 and have yet to receive.

Do not be fooled by the professional look of their web site: DO NOT TRUST THEM
