Vernonscope Brandon 16mm

I compared the Brandon 16mm to a TV 15mm Plossl on Mars, and the Brandon had better field contrast. Also compared the Brandon and the TV to a Baader 12.5mm ortho. The Baader and the Brandon were very close in performance and a little better than the TV Plossl. But the Brandon 16mm seemed to have slightly darker field of view.

Vernonscope Brandon 16mm

Very sharp. Nice 95x with my Quantum 4 that splits nicely such as Castor & the double-double(Epsilon Lyrae)

Vernonscope Brandon 16mm

As with the test noted under the 8mm Brandon; compared this eyepiece to the TV 15mm Plossol and found no difference in performance. But the TV plossol are much cheaper. All-in-all the Brandons are nice, but even the fit and finish does not seem as nice as TV.
