I really like this eyepiece. Optically, it performs about as good as possible with a 4-element widefield. In my F5 dob the center 60% is very sharp with some fall-off beyond that, but even at the edge stars don't seagull or cross. In my F8 refractor it is sharp about 90% of the way out. Other plusses are very comfortable eye relief, forgiving eye placement, a wide field without being so wide you need to crane your head around to take it all in, light weight, (10oz. no need to rebalance scope when switching to smaller eyepieces) and is close to being parfocal with most of my 1.25" oculars.

It has become my favorite finder eyepiece and depending on the object I am more than happy to just leave it in the focuser once the target has been reached.

Pity it is no longer made. The majority of folks seem to prefer the ultra-wides but these 60deg Konigs are far more comfortable in my book. If you find a used one in good shape, Grab it!

Well i have to say this EP *looks* great. Sadly, it gives me two problems in my f/5 truss scope, probably due to the f/5 optics.

1) my eye must be right on the EP axis, otherwise it blacks out
2) i must also be at just the right distance from the EP, or again, it blacks out. This makes it very difficult to use the wide field of view.

That said, the view is clear and bright, once i find it :)
All in all, a disappointment, as I have two of the 1.25 inch UO Konigs, which have been great little workhorse EP's.

This has become one of my most used EPs in my 13.1 f4.5 Coulter Dob. The views of open clusters, nebula, close galaxies such as M31 and M33, scanning the Milky Way, and Moon are awesome. This EP is clear to the edge and works exceptionally with OII/UHC filters for bringing details of Helix Nebula, Lagoon, Veil, and North American Nebula. In comparison to Panoptics, I have found very similar contrast.

This is my favorite eyepiece. I use it in both my C8 f/10 and my 15" f/4.5 - For its price this has to be one of the best EP's out there. When I compare the view against more expensive eyepieces, it's hard to beat the contrast. In the world of inexpensive eyepieces, this is a great wide field choice.

This is my primary eyepiece on my f5.6 10" homemade dob. The contrast is
excellent and the image quality is very high. On my scope, there is only
a small amount of coma and distortion at the outermost 1/5 of the field-very
close to the edge. Clusters resolve very well and galaxies and nebulae show
up well also. A great buy for the money.

Great eyepiece! I prefer it over my Televue Panoptic 35 in my f8 5" refractor. In my f3.8 10" reflector it has noticeable soft edges. However that does not detract from the pleasure of using this EP. It has a lot of available backfocus, which can help with many scopes that don't have much backfocus.

This is a great-looking eyepiece.

I have 30 years experience in astronomy. This eyepiece was tested in a Televue TV-85 apo refractor and in a Nextstar 11" SCT, comparing it with other similar eyepieces.

It had remarkably poor optics. Stars became horribly distorted in the outer half of the field. I sent my UOptics 32mm eyepiece back and I do not recommend that you buy this eyepiece.

The Celestron Axiom 34mm eyepiece costs a little more but is vastly superior.

Please note that UOptics never contacted me when I returned the eyepiece with my test rtesults, nor has the company offered to replace what might have been a poor eyepiece with a more suitable 32mm.

You must have had a lemon! My 32mm Konig is fantastic and has none of the issues you describe in both f/10 SCT and fast f/4.5 Dobsonians.

The 32mm 2" Konig is a great lower cost alternative for those wanting a wide-field eyepiece. On a 10" f/4.5 reflector the edge of field is distorted some but, the undistorted field of view is still larger than a Televue 32mm. Comparing these 2 eyepieces I was surprised to find that the view through the Konig was better - fainter stars could be seen and slightly more detail viewed when testing on M-4.
